1. Clean the surface of the siding- All the loose paint must be removed, this can be done by using a wire brush or a scraper.
2. Prime the wood using a high quality primer. Pay special attention to the bare spots and always allow the primer to dry before you apply paint.
3. Apply several coat of paint- it is better to apply several thin coats than to apply a thick coat, thin coats provide a better seal for wood.
